Sam Maul is the Chief Engineer and Producer at Shock City Studios in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Webster University with a BA in Audio Production in 2012. In his 10 years of experience in the audio industry Sam has worked with thousands of clients across all genres of music, from local hobbyists to national and international touring artists and professional sports teams.

He has worked on sound for film, television and radio advertisements, as well as some of the most-downloaded podcasts in the country. His beagle Jeffrey often sits beside him during mix sessions to check supersonic frequencies.

Sam teaches private and semi-private audio engineering, recording, production and podcasting to students through Shock City School of Music. He customizes lessons to fit the needs and preferences of each individual student to align with their projects.
