Group Piano for Older Adults

At Shock City School of Music, we believe you are never too old to begin your music journey!

If you’re looking for a fun weekly activity and never had the time before to explore your musical talents, we have the perfect class for you!

Join us for Group Piano for Older Adults- a perfect social activity for older adults wanting to enjoy playing piano in a non-stressful, easygoing environment. Enabling you to play music for fun while also developing music understanding! Geared toward ages 55+

Class takes an easy approach to note reading and playing chords. We will work through an adult piano method book playing through a variety of familiar music- traditional, classical, jazz, musical theater, pop, and more.

Group Piano meets for 60 minutes every Wednesday at 1pm, under the instruction of Gen Lobonc Billhartz, at Shock City School of Music Maplewood.

Prior piano lesson or music experience not required. Class is perfect for beginners or those returning to piano.

This ongoing class (no end date) has a monthly tuition of $180 (the same cost as our 30-minute private lesson but in a longer and more rewarding setting!). A $45 registration fee applies at sign-up for any new to Shock City families. 

Class books are provided but cost is not included in tuition.
