Group Piano Class for Kids
Looking for a fun and engaging (but also educational) activity for your child? Join our class Group Piano for Kids!
Perfect for kids from 1st to 4th grade who are beginners at learning piano! Weekly classes will include and cover proper playing technique, note reading, music theory, ear training, music activities, developing and understanding rhythm, and playing songs. We will take a traditional and age-appropriate approach to learning, and will play traditional, familiar favorites, and popular songs.
Group Piano meets for 45 minutes every Monday at 6pm, under the instruction of Julie Altnether, at Shock City School of Music Maplewood.
Ages 7-9- This ongoing class (no end date) has a monthly tuition of $180 (the same cost as our 30-minute private lesson but in a longer and more rewarding setting!). A $45 registration fee applies at sign-up for any new to Shock City families.
